Weekend family getaway at Pacific Shores

One of our favorite places whenever we decide to have a nearby family weekend getaway is just within the city, at the subdivision where my sister purchased a lot, the Pacific Shores subdivision in Talisay City, just few minutes drive from the city proper.

Such a peaceful place, isn’t it?

To arrange for a day’s stay, we would usually just call up and inform the Pacific Shores office the day before, so the guard at the gate would immediately let us in. As my sister is one of the subdivision lot owners, the entrance fee is waived, we only had to pay for the cottage rental and use of swimming pool.

During one of our family reunions few years ago, with my two Europe-based sisters and their families coming over for a vacation, we spent a day at Pacific Shores. The kids had a great time at the pool, while we enjoyed our lunch of grilled pork and dried fish. Despite the cloudy weather and slight drizzle, it was such a relaxing day for us, spending time with family while having a great view of the sea.
